Lombard Mutual has a team of expert staff on hand to determine the value of gold and jewelry sent to us. We ask that you please do not send us items that you are certain are not authentic.

Yes! And the best part is, you are under no obligation to send us your scrap gold or jewelry, even if you have already requested a kit. Shipping is also pre-paid if you do decide to send us your gold or jewelry.

As found in our Terms and Conditions, we insure each of our Lombard Mutual Kits in case of lost items. The maximum value of the insurance is $100 US.

Our kit comes with a very heavy duty, Poly-Bubble bag. While these bags will generally be enough for any item you wish to send us, if you have any concerns, please call us at 1.212.819.0366 and we can assist you in determining if you need additional packaging materials.

After waiting 10 business days (allowing your gold or jewelry to reach us), we ask that you call our office and speak with a customer service representative. They will be able to determine if and when we received the Lombard Mutual Kit from you and when we mailed your check.
